Groups for Support and Info Boosting Your Emotional Health—Mon 1-3. Join us after lunch for a support group to enhance emotional health run by Amy Anderson-Reid (AIDS Council Mental Health Counselor) Learn new ways to keep yourself mentally healthy! Call Amy at 434-4668 x2208 for more info or just drop in! For individuals living with HIV only. HIV & Recovery Support Group - 1 PM to 2 PM every Wed. Call Beth Liotta-Rosenthal, Substance Abuse Specialist at the AIDS Council for more info at 434-4386 x 2225 Healthy Relationships – a skill building group for HIV positive members. Stipend paid for qualified applicants. Contact our Peer Advocates at 449-7119 for more info. Social Activities Bingo with Zack! – Prizes, Bingo, & Fun with volunteer Zack – starting at 6 PM! Backyard BBQ – Sat 9/27 from 2-5 - Sponsored by Emmanuel Friedens Church. Also - Bring the kids to help celebrate Mikey’s birthday! Smart Meals – Lunches Noon to 1:30 PM and dinner served from 6 PM to 7:30 Mondays through Thursdays. More opportunities for conversation, support, and information on proper diet and eating well! Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) - is an energy-based form of natural healing and bodywork in which the practitioner directs energy to the recipient so that they may achieve self-healing on many different levels.
